SOMOS LO QUE SOMOS WE ARE WHAT WE ARE
WE ARE WHAT WE ARE A king was until his garden and discovered that their trees, shrubs and flowers were dying. The oak said to him that it died because it could not be as high as the Pine. Becoming to the Pine, it found it fallen because it could not give grapes like the Grapevine. And the Grapevine died because it could not bloom like the Rose. The Rose cried not being strong and solid like Roble. Then it found a plant, a Carnation blooming and fresher than ever. The king asked to him: How he is that you grow so healthful in the middle of this garden gloomy and shady? The flower answered: Perhaps it is because I always supposed that when you planted to me you wanted carnations. If you had wanted another plant you would have planted it in my place. At that moment I said myself: I will try to be Carnation of the best way than I can, and here I am, the most beautiful and nice carnationl of your garden. We are what we are. We lived shrivelleding to us because of our own dissatisfactions in our absurd comparisons with the others... If I were..., if I had..., if my life were... Conjugating the future always uncertain instead of present the concrete one, to be determined in not wanting to see that the happiness is a subjective and voluntary state. We can choose today to be happy with which we are and which we have or, to live bitter reason why we do not have or we cannot be. Only we will be able to bloom day that we accept that we are what we are, that we are unique and that nobody can make what we came to do, nor be what each one of us is. Begin you doing what is necessary, later what is possible and you will be doing the impossible thing suddenly. San Francis of Assisi
